The flexibility of Neverwinter Nights allowed for a wide range of modifications. However, BioWare also saw an opportunity in this, and created Premium Modules. These are essentially add-ons for the game, with new stories, content and features. Since they were not very large to justify a full-blown expansion, they decided to use them as premium online content. Users could buy these packs online and download them in order to play them. The first pack released was called Kingmaker. The module puts you at the lead of an uneven party, your mission is to meet your enemy outside the Keep of Cyan The way the module was written allows for multiple plot lines and results. This amounts to a very good amount of replay value. As if that wasn't enough, there are new objects and enemies along the way. This is the spearhead for BioWare's Premium Module downloads. Is it worth it? Yes, it's worth its money, it will provide good hours of fun. However, if you are not a big fan of Neverwinter Nights, then this might be too much for you.
